Nasal Aspirator or Bulb Syringe

A nasal aspirator or bulb syringe is an essential items in any mother's medical tool kit.
Why use a Nasal aspirator?
When your child has a stuffed up nose due to cold or illness, a nasal aspirator is the perfect tool to help clear out their nasal passages and let them breathe easier.
How to use a Nasal Aspirator.
- Squeeze bulb to expel all the air.
- Place tip gently into baby’s nostril and slowly release bulb. Do not push tip in too far, and do not release all at once.
- Flush tip with warm water, and repeat.
Tip: You could also use saline drops to help soften and loosen a stuffed up nose. Then use the nasal aspirator (bulb syringe) to clear things out.
How to Clean a Nasal Aspirator
Wash complete aspirator in warm soapy water to remove mucous. Rinse well and let dry.
How to Sterilize a Nasal Aspirator
Place complete aspirator in water at 100°F for 10 minutes. Allow water to cool, remove aspirator and rinse with rubbing alcohol.
